Alex and Elena arrived from Mallorca with a huge entourage of family and friends to celebrate their wedding in Granada. Although I didn't investigate much, seeing an Asturian flag on Alex's father's phone protector gave me some clue as to where they came from. The wedding was held at Elena's family estate, in the Granada town of Láchar. An Andalusian estate with 2 main buildings of family homes, a wooded area where the ceremony took place and an old tennis court where the banquet and dance area was set up. We started at the Alhambra Palace Hotel, in a very special location next to the most famous monument, with enviable views of the city. Elena got dressed at the Láchar estate, where she was waiting for Alex's family. Most of the guests, who came from outside, mainly from Mallorca and who were staying in the city, arrived in 2 buses that filled the estate in no time. The highly emotional ceremony, under the leafy trees and protected from the sun and heat of late July, was a collection of stories about the couple in their beginnings, the start of their relationship, their Erasmus experiences, their travels, their jobs... told by the people who know them best: brothers and friends of adventure. The banquet and the party were spectacular in the tennis court area, between the challenges and pranks of the numerous friends. It was scary when we gathered the girls on one side and the boys on the other for the photos... anything could happen. We stayed until very late: there was no desire to leave their side.
